Journalism

Here are selections that represent some of my best work in journalism, including in digital, print, audio, and photojournalism.

WAMU:

At WAMU, I report stories on a variety of topics, including local politics, health, education, culture, and more. For some stories, I was able to produce a full radio feature, as well as a full written article to accompany it.

Here are a few selected stories I’ve reported:

NPR

I helped produce a limited-run, investigative podcast series called “On Our Watch” from NPR and KQED. Episode by episode, the series delved into a different case of police brutality and misconduct, uncovered from recently released internal affairs records from police departments across the state of California. I helped produce the entire first season.

On Our Watch

At NPR’s Planet Money podcast, I co-produced a number of episodes, including “Find the Helium”, about the role of helium in the U.S. economy, and the threat of the helium shortage.
